Word Meteors

Meteors are falling on a tiny town, and every one of them has a word written across it. Type the word to blast the meteor before it lands. Each wave falls faster and brings longer words, so a round is a quick, cheerful typing workout that fits between lessons.

How to play

• Press Enter or click PLAY, then keep your hands on the keyboard.
• Type the first letter of a word to lock onto the lowest meteor that starts with it.
• Keep typing: correct letters light up green, and finishing the word pops the meteor.
• A wrong letter shakes the meteor and counts against your accuracy, but you keep your progress. Press Backspace to let go and pick a different meteor.
• Every meteor that lands smashes a house. Lose all three houses and the round is over.

• Typing speed and accuracy: the results screen shows your words per minute and accuracy.
• Spelling and sight-word recognition with about 180 common words, from three to eight letters.
• Staying calm and focused while the waves speed up.
